Overheard on the bus today...
Man #1: I'm not big on this whole marrying thing.
Man #2: Yeah, I'm more into the engagement thing. But they recommend you avoid getting engaged unless you actually plan on getting married.
Man #1: Really?!? {I think/hope this was said with an eyeroll}
Man #2 {plowing ahead cluelessly}: Yeah, well when you stop and think about it, I guess that might cause some confusion if you don't actually want to be married.
Sigh! There are some things even an English accent can't make charming.
