Someone threw my life into a blender the last two weeks. It's been one big slop of client projects, travel, a county fair, and last-minute preparations for my hop across the pond, which, for those of you keeping score at home, is exactly 2 weeks away. Eeek!
Needless to say, I haven't had the time, creativity or energy to write anything worth reading lately. As a matter of fact, I'm not even sure this is worth reading, but whatever....you're already here so let's pretend, ok?
This week's Sunday Soundtrack is my attempt to zenify (is that even a word?) the crazy from the past two weeks. If you liked the Head and the Heart, you'll love The Lumineers. Same concept: rustic sound, heartfelt lyrics, and earnest, genuine music. It's exactly what I need to say goodbye to this hectic, emotionally-draining Summer and hello to a new season: my beloved Autumn. Enjoy!
