Adventures in Detox Dining

It's Monday and officially the mid-way point of my week-long clear-the-slate detox. Now I don't want to get ahead of myself, but I think there might be something to this whole "Eat Real Food" thing.

Over the last four days, I have successfully eliminated the most common allergens (peanuts, dairy, wheat, meat), the three most important food groups (wine, cheese, and chocolate), and anything created in a test-tube.

The results: Better Sleep. More Energy. Clearer Skin. Also, I am officially 5 pounds lighter, can whip up an impressive array of vegetable-based smoothies, and am on track for attaining superhero status by the end of the week.

More on my progress (and maybe a few smoothie recipes) later.  Until then, a Happy, Healthy Thought:
