I'm probably going to jail now...

You’re probably wondering where I’ve been lately. Either that or you didn’t notice I was gone, which means we should both be glad I wasn’t laying in a ditch, desperately clinging to life all this time. Phew!

Anyhoo, I wanted to let you know that I’m probably going to jail. So if I disappear again (and you actually notice this time), that’s where I am. Jail.

Thought you should know.

Like most capers that lead to jail time, I am writing this post with the best of intentions. Put simply, I wanted to share a few photos from my adventures at Hogwarts (aka The Making of Harry Potter exhibit) a few weeks back. Unfortunately, Warner Brothers isn’t so keen on the whole posting photos thing. Most likely because they’re in cahoots with Voldemort. Also, because they hate goodness and light.

Thus, certain jail time (or worse) for me. But I'm willing to risk it because The Making of Harry Potter is truly a must-do adventure for Harry Potter fans who are suffering from Hogwarts withdrawals.

The exhibit includes most of the iconic sets from the movie, allowing fans to walk through Diagon Alley (and peer into Ollivander's Wand Shop), sit in on a Double Potions lecture, even check out a few of the Great Hall feasts.

There is a cool exhibit on the green screen and special effects used in the movie (not to mention an opportunity to ride your own broomstick). And, of course, no visit to the wizarding world would be complete without a pint of butterbeer.

Doesn't it look delicious? Bet they don't serve that in jail.

One more tip: Spend the extra couple pounds for the audio/video guide. It's narrated by your favorite Slytherin and mine: Draco Malfoy (aka "Man, he turned out hot, Tom Felton") and has lots of behind-the-scenes stories and interviews with the cast and crew.

And before I go, a Happy Thought to get your week off to a magical start:

"Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light."

  1. Thank you for bravely putting those photos there.  I have been to jail and I did not get any tattoos but it's no fun.  (I spent a day in a cell with 30 other woman we all committed the same traffic violation)

  3.  If I go, I think it's only fitting to get an HP tattoo in the slammer, don't you?
